Homestead High School Partners with MNP

On behalf of the Homestead Publications class, Homestead High School students, Brooke Bayer and Sam Horn chose the Mequon Nature Preserve as the recipient of a $100 donation. This generous gift was to fulfill the challenge: “If a student is to receive $100, what charity/ organization would he or she donate it to?”As part of the HHS newspaper article, Brooke and Sam delivered the gift directly to MNP where Brooke videotaped the interaction between a surprised staff member (Kay Amland) and Sam, who handed her the check.  Thank you Brooke and Sam for believing in MNP’s mission! Mequon Nature Preserve is proud to have a strong relationship with the students at Homestead High School. The video below was also filmed by the Homestead Publication class.
