Field trips are conducted between 10AM and 1PM Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Every visit will include a nature hike through prairie, wetland, and woodland habitats. Special after-school accommodations can be made with clubs or Scouts troops; with a start time no later then 4:30pm. Many of MNP’s trails are ADA compliant.

Be prepared to get outside! Unless the weather absolutely terrible, we will be getting outside for a 2 mile hike, so be dressed appropriately!

Field trips are free of charge for all schools. Donations toward programming are appreciated, but never expected.

Our Bus Scholarship Program is reserved for those schools in need of roundtrip bus transportation fees for schools within the Milwaukee Public School system’s boundaries. Schools are responsible for the scheduling of the bus from a local bus company. The bus company then bills Mequon Nature Preserve. Direct any questions to Marianne.
