Thursday, August 22, 2019  |   6:30PM – 8:00PM

An information-packed lecture by Wisconsin’s favorite gardening expert!

Sponsored by the Fresh Coast Resource Center & the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District.

Join gardening expert, TV/radio host and author Melinda Myers for a bit of inspiration by touring some of the gardens at Mequon Nature Preserve. The group will then move inside to explore ways you can incorporate natives into your landscape whether gardening in the city, suburbs or on a more expansive piece of property. Discover the many benefits of adding natives, including the art of attracting pollinators, keeping water where it falls and minimizing ongoing maintenance.
