Please Consider Making a Gift to Support the Mequon Nature Preserve

The City of Mequon established the Mequon Nature Preserve Fund and an Endowment Fund at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation for three reasons.

  • To ensure that all gifts will be professionally managed
  • To assure donors that gifts will be used only for the Mequon Nature Preserve
  • To ensure privacy – you can have confidence that your gift to the Mequon Nature Preserve Fund or Endowment Fund at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and your personal information will not be made public without your permission

The Mequon Nature Preserve Fund serves several purposes:

  • To provide ongoing support for environmental education programs and activities
  • To support ongoing land restoration and stewardship
  • To complete improvements such as a trail system and equipping the education center to serve students of all ages

The Mequon Nature Preserve Endowment Fund was established in 2007 to provide long-term support for:

  • Environmental education programs including supporting the operation of the PieperPower Education Center
  • Land restoration
  • Maintenance of trail systems so that the general public has full access to the facility.

All checks should be made payable to the Mequon Nature Preserve Fund or the Mequon Nature Preserve Endowment Fund and should be sent to the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Greater Milwaukee Foundation, 101 W. Pleasant Street, Suite 210, Milwaukee WI 53212.
Gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
